Q. If you could change the ending of any book (or series), which book would you choose? Why and to what?
I don't even need a quarter of a second to think of an answer.
Of course I would change the end to the Hunger Games series!
I just hated HATED the way it ended. Book 1 and 2 were so fabulous! book 3 had so much potential, it could have been EPIC!
It totally wasn't. And I was soooooooooo sad! because that is/was/could have been my favorite series EVER.
But in Mockingjay everything's so changed and different, and all the things that made me love that series (like everyone's courage and braveness) were GONE.
And it felt like all the character's I had grown to love were replaced with strangers and I just felt cheated.
Now I'm nervous to read the series, because there have been a LOT of people tonight who've said the same thing D:

I whole heartly agree! The first two were amazing! And I was so excited for the third, but it was as if another author had written it all together. It was so upsetting!
ReplyDelete:) Mockingjay could've been better, but i still liked how it was wrapped up.

Hopping through. Yup, I feel the same way about Mockingjay. Catching Fire was my fav of the three books.

That's too bad about the ending to the Hunger Games series. It sucks whenever the rest of a series kicks butt but the ending just doesn't live up to expectations.

I had to skip past reading there in case there was any spoilers as I'm just about to start reading this series! I hope I'm not frustrated by the ending, though!

I have to say that I liked the Hunger Games series overall. I know a lot of people were disappointed with the last book, but I would just like to probably change a few things in it. For example, I didn't like how Gale just disappeared. A good friend wouldn't really do that in my opinion. I love your blog layout, it is so cute. Also, I am your new 100th follower! Congrats!

Mockingjay seems to be pretty popular. ;) I definitely agree with you! The characters seemed like they had been replaced.
